The team at Eidos Montreal are hard at work on a  new Deus Ex title making its way to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, they announced today.

The new title will follow in a series of graphic novels, video games, and books all tied to together through a world known as Deus Ex: Universe, a new saga expanding the franchise "on a constant basis" and building "a more deeper, richer experience for fans of the franchise than ever before".

"The idea behind Deus Ex: Universe is to develop an ongoing, always expanding and interconnecting game universe created  across a generation of core games," said David Anfossi head of Eidos Montreal studio.

"We are committed on our part to deliver meaningful content that expands the series franchise on a constant basis."
Deus Ex: Universe will be available on  PC as well as next-gen PS4 and Xbox One consoles, but Eidos are not stopping there, as they intend to expand the Dues Ex: Experience on other media like smartphones, tables, graphic novels, and books.

"I' am pleased to confirm that  work has already begun on the new  Deus Ex: Universe. My team and I are very excited about the project, and we just wanted to let you all know that we are working extremely hard on this new game. It has taken my team and I four years to develop a unique Dues Ex experience with Human Revolution, and it was important we retained that knowledge and use it once again within the franchise."

Dues Ex next title is based around, "trans-humanism segregation," David Anfossi explains.

We are very excited to about this news, as I am sure you are too. It is still early days, so we won't be expecting a lot more updates from David Anfossi and the team at Eidos Montreal, but we are glad he let us know. Dues Ex will be available on next gen- PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

A launch date is yet to be announced.
