Sony have confirmed with PS4.sx that they have begun sending out invites for Playstation Now, Sony's cloud-based game-streaming service. The invites are being sent to a number of users, so if you have signed up for the beta make sure to check your emails for the notification.

We discovered the news when users on our social community forums began posting screenshots of their received invites.  According to Sony, participants are required to have a PS3 and a broadband connection with a minimum speed of 5 mega bytes per second. Sony are yet to confirm the number of people invited to the program, but we will let you know once we get an update from our sources at Sony HQ.

Playstation Now, powered by Gaikai streaming service will allow PS1, PS2 and PS3 games to be played on all Playstation platforms including the brand new PS4, and eventually other devices like the new Sony 4k Bravia TV and other applications connected to the internet. Sony had launched a website earlier this month informing people to register for updates on PS Now.
