Outlast: Whistleblower DLC Launching April

Red Barrels has announced Outlast, Whistleblower DLC will be released this April. Whistleblower will see you take on the role of Waylon Park, a software engineer under contract to Murkoff and the anonymous man that sent out the worldwide email to journalist, before Miles accepted the invitation to investigate Mount Massive's Assylum. Under contract at the Assylum, Wayne is under strict security protocols, denying him contact with the outside world even with his Wife and Son.
Weylon's first hand-experience of the way Mount Massive is being run by profit focused doctors and their cruel and dangerous experiments on the patients lead him to set into motion the unveiling of Mount Massive's evil corruptions and the men and women behind the heinous crimes.
Red Barrel also mentions that despite Whistleblower being the story that leads to Outlast, it will actually go beyond that event of the first game to show the last chapter in Mount Massive Asylum's story.
