The world of  Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is a vast and wonderful place, free to explore for hundreds of hours to your hearts content, but if you like to do your explorations with groups of friends, then we are pleased to update you with some of the awesome multiplayer features that can only be achieved in groups of 4 or twenty-four on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on Playstation 4.
There are hundreds of locations to visit in the wonderful magical realm of Eorzea, with its far reaching 3 city-states. There you will discover secrets hidden in different places, where those with sinister intentions can find a place to claim their part of the realm for their evil bidding. From locations like the Manor, where you will discover a lady so caught in her own vanity that she gladly traded her sanity in exchange for looking beautiful forever. Or the long abandoned mine now inhabited by the ghastly beast men. Players will hardly find time to be idle in FFXIV as there is so much to do and discover in Eorzea.

While you journey through the realm, you will also come into contact with the Primals, a group of god-like beings whose interaction with the realm play a vital role on the overall Final Fantasy XIV story. Without giving away any spoilers, we can tell you these Primals have the raw destructive power to change the face of Eorzea forever, as we witnessed during the coming of the 7th Umbral Era, brought about by Bahamut the elder Primal after being freed from his prison in Dalamud.

Dungeons
There are several other ways to gain notoriety in Eorzea. For example you can clear out enemy inhabited dungeons with a group of friends for your claim to fame and fortune. The Dungeon quests are usually much more difficult to complete and can only be entered by you and your group with a total size of 4-8 players going in to clean house. These missions are also much harder to complete, but they also offer huge experience points and rewards in the form of unique equipment's that can't be found anywhere else.

To also compensate for the possibility of missing a dungeon during your group quests or if you  have out leveled a particular dungeon, it is worth knowing that you will be leveled down to enable you and your friends to still visit that particular  dungeon in question. Once a dungeon has been unlocked, you will be able to easily locate it in your Duty Finder, which is great so you don't have to journey to that dungeon every time you want to go cave exploring. You can also line up random players to go exploring with, though you may want to create your own group.

Raids
Players will also be pleased to know that there are currently two Raids in Final Fantasy XIV: the Labyrinth of the Ancients located within the Crystal Tower. This is a Twenty-four man raid group created from 3 unique groups. The second is The Binding Coil of Bahamut, an Eight-man raid for the most passionate and committed members of groups out there. These raids also deliver the best equipment's and is only for those up for a real challenge who are already experienced in group play, as few have been able to go beyond the last boss battle, according Hergan Thaens community manager at Square Enix. Hegan also tells us that they intend to update the endgame landscape expanding on the landscape every 3 months so make sure you look out for that.

Primals
As you journey through Eorzea you will most likely meet Primals at some point or the other. These god-like beings summoned to the world by beast tribes make for some very challenging and spectacular looking fights. Players must work together driving these abominations back to whence they came.  Located in the Duty Finder, gamers can revisit these Primals changing the difficult level from hard to extreme modes if they are really up for a hell of a fight.

Are you up for the task? Grab a few friends today and  go hunting to see just how far you can get in the world Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn today.
