Sony's Worldwide Studio Boss Shuhei Yoshida confirmed on twitter that the PSVita can only be used as a Playstation 4 controller, if the game was specifically designed for it. The PSVita can not be used as a second control as many have thought in the past. Yoshida said, "It can not be used as a second controller in the way we would normally expect, unless a developer wrote a programme in their game allowing for this feature."
Yoshida also said the Playstation 4 is due for a November release, but we knew that already, if you haven't been following our launch countdown.
What do you think of Shuhei Yoshida's confirmation? Are you disappointed?
