PS4 cooler, lighter than PS3, FCC test confirms


PS4 Is The New Cool Kid on The Block

The FCC has run several tests on the brand new Playstation 4, and has confirmed the consoles temperature is cooler than the playstation 3, making it very unlikely to overheat.

The FCC revealed the PS4 is operating between 5 and 35 celsius, compared to the PS3's average of 45 and 55.
The FCC also measured the Playstation 4's maximum clock efficiency at a result of 2.75GHz

The PS4 will also be much lighter at 2.8kg than the PS3 which weighed 5kg. Although the Playstation 4 still does weigh slightly more than the playstation 3's slimline model at 2.1kg

The PS4 will be released first in North America at a price of $399 and in the UK for £349
