Sony's Playstation Plus? PS Plus Explained

What is Playstation Plus?

At this years E3, Sony mentioned expanding their Playstation Plus subscription base to the PS4.
This will basically allow current members in the PS Plus programme to take full advantage of the online game contents. While that may sound great for some, not everyone is familiar with the PS Plus Programme.

Playstation plus is a membership service for playstation Vita, Playstation 3 and the highly anticipated Playstation 4. Members who subscribe get 1 gigabyte of online memory to save their games safely in the cloud, which can then be downloaded to other machines to play.

Subscribers to the PS plus programme also get access to automatic system updates in the background while you play.

PS3 subscription members also get exclusive early access to games, and pre-released demos before you purchase.
Members also get access to downloadable themes, as well as discounts of games download from the server. (Every penny counts so this is a welcome addition to gamers.)
With playstation plus, you get instant access to game collections updated constantly. So you will never be bored of what to play next.

Check out this Video by Playstation Access explaining all the benefits of being a Playstation plus member and more.
Are you already a member of Playstation plus? If not would you join when the PS4 comes out? Do you think its worth the $5 dollars a month fee?
