In a recent report by Gamespot, Shuhei Yoshida Sony's World Wide President, revealed that the PlayStation 4 can be remotely turned on to begin downloading content bought on your smartphone.

“When you purchase a PS4 game on your smartphone, it will wake up your Playstation 4 and start automatically downloading the game. Once download is complete, the PS4 will then go back to sleep." Twitted Shuhei Yoshida.
This feature will assist gamers of having to manually  download games they have purchased when they are away from their PS4.

Sony has also confirmed that the Playstation 4 will support all chat across Playstation platforms. So PS Vita gamers can talk to PS4 gamers and vice versa. This feature will definitely come in handy with the new commander feature on Battlefield 4, where gamers on hand-held devices can give out order to troops on the battlefield without physically having to be in the game themselves.

The PS4 release date is Nov. 15 North America,  and in Europe, the UK and Australia on Nov. 29. Sony also intends to have the console available to thirty-two other countries around the world by the end of 2013.
