Playstation 4 Online Will Support Real Name ID On Launch
By Maya Mayfield24th October 2013
When Sony revealed the PS4 months ago, they also announced their plans to create an online social network system inside the Playstation 4 console. This system will allow people to display their real names if they wish, similar to Facebook but for PS4 gamers.
Earlier today, Sony confirmed to Kotaku that their new social networking system will be up and ready to go on PS4's release date on 15 November 2013 in America, and players can display their real names if they want.
The new social feature will allow for a user customisable network-styled page, where you can display all your recent game activities, achievements, unlocked trophies and video captures for anyone visiting your page to see.
Putting your real name is optional, and players can opt out of displaying this information if they want.
Would you use your real name on PS4's network?
