Philippe Morin co founder of Red Barrels has shared some information with us regarding their survival horror title Outlast out today. Outlast is available now on PS4 and Playstation Plus members can download it absolutely free.
Phillippe tells us the small team of 11 people who made Outlast shared one common goal during the games development and that was to scare the C**p out of you.

Here is the story so far . . .

So basically as a mild mannered reporter without the Super powers of Superman (Darn it!) You basically find yourself trapped in the wrong place at the wrong time. (Don't you hate when that happens?) Defenseless and unable to protect yourself from the mutated twisted patients of the Asylum.

Your mission which you have no choice but to accept is to sneak around, run and hide . . . or die.

Phillippe said the team has worked hard to create those classic eerie horror effects, atmosphere and environments we all know and sort of . . . love in the making of Outlast which should by the end of the madness leave you craving for more.
