MGS 5: Ground Zeroes Apparently Takes Two Hours To Complete
February 4th, 2014, by Maya MayfieldApparently the story mode of Metal Gear Solid V: is going to be extremely short, lasting only 2hrs according to Game Informer magazine. Game Informer states via Kotaku that the main core story mission of Ground Zeroes is short and that they had completed the game just under 2 hours. Obviously this also depends on users gameplay abilities and skill, but don't expect a long campaign. The length however does not reflect the quality of Metal Gear Solid V in our opinion from what we have seen at gaming events.
We suspect this is also why the games price has been reduced slightly with Metal Gear Solid 5 costing $30 dollars for digital downloads and $40 dollars for retail on the PS4 and Xbox One versions, and $20 dollars on digital downloads on PS3 and Xbox 360 and $30 dollars for the retail versions.
Kojima is yet to announce when Ground Zero's sequel The Phantom Pain will be out, but does promise it to be much larger than the upcoming MGSV release.
