Alien: Isolation Coming Oct, 7th 2014

Creative Assembly has announced that October 7th 2014 is the release date for Alien Isolation. The launch date was announced today during a panel at EGX Rezzed 2014, a conference held in the UK.
“We could not be happier to finally reveal a date for Alien: Isolation,” said Creative Assembly Lead Director Alistair Hope. “Peoples reactions playing the game has been extremely amazing, from some randomly screaming to others breaking out in cold sweats. It is the Alien game that we have always wanted to make and play and we can not wait to let everyone get their hands on it this October 7."

Alien Isolation is a sci-fi survival horror, where you will take on the role of Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen Ripley. While under contract with Weyland-Yutani, Amanda arrives on a remote space station Sevastopol in an effort to retrieve the flight recorder of the Nostromo. While onboard the abandoned station, Amanda soon discovers she is not alone as there's a xenomorph on the station.
Unlike other alien games Creative Assembly has said players will not be able to use any firearm to face the Alien predator, so it will be very interesting to see just how they have designed for players to navigate this scenario. Alien: Isolation will also launch on Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on the 7th of October.
