Foul Play Coming to Playstation 4 and PSVita
March 6th, 2014, Maya MayfieldMediatonic has just revealed their PC classic Foul Play will be coming to PS4 and PS Vita. Luke Borrett from Mediatonic describes Foul Play as a theatre-based beat-em-up special bonanza where Victorian Daemonologist, Baron Dashforth recreates his epic adventures for the stage, featuring combat trained actors in menacing and hilarious costumes to brawl against.
Foul Play doesn't follow the typical conventional methods of using a health bar, instead the game incorporates what Luke describes as a 'Mood-o-meter' that players must keep filled up by the actions they perform in the game. Pull off epic crowd pleasing moves and you will be rewarded with cheers, hats flying in the air, whistles and whoops. Miss your cues, or get beaten up by the adversarial actors and you will be booed off the stage. Follow the Baron and his assistant Mr. Scampwick in co-operative play, battling your way through hordes of combat experienced actors in threatening and silly costumes.
Luke tells us the team at Mediatonic are in the process of polishing up the game with the PS4 version running at a full 1080p, 60 frames per second. You can follow the team at Mediatonic and keep up to date with Foul Play's development by following them on twitter and Facebook or at their official website.
