Frozenbyte has just announced some fantastic news in the midst of circulating rumours of a Trine 2 port for PS4.  Kai Finnish Game developer from Frozenbyte confirmed today that Trine 2 Complete Story is in fact heading to Playstation 4.

Trine 2: Complete Story is a side-scrolling action, puzzle platforming game. You play the role of the Knight, the Wizard and the Thief. As these three Heroes, you must make your way through life threatening dangers in a magical mystical fairytale world.

Kai from Finnish Game tells us Trine 2: Complete Story on PS4 will be self published and it will be the newest version of the game. Trine 2 will include a total of 20 incredibly exciting levels jam packed full of mysteries to solve and adventures to discover.
So in total gamers can expect to play the main campaign, as well as Goblin Menace and the Secret level Dwarven Caverns, which were part of the expansion packs.

Kai informs us that thanks to Playstation 4 technical side, gamers can expect to enjoy Trine 2 in gorgeous 1080p graphics at 60 Frames per Second. In addition Trine 2: Complete story will also support stereoscopic 3D, so make sure you keep those 3D glasses you collect from the movie theatre safe because you will be using them to bring Trine 2: Complete Story a little more closer to your living room on the Playstation 4.
