We Get A Walkthrough Of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 On Playstation 4

Beenox Creative Director Thomas Wilson has shared a video walkthrough of the Amazing Spider-Man 2 coming to Playstation 4. Since taking control of the Spider-Man gaming franchise Thomas informs us that Beenox has tried to seize every opportunity to explore new innovative ideas with the release of each Spider-Man game. With the Amazing Spider-Man 2  launching on PS4 and PS3, Beenox took advantage of the extra power under the hood of the Playstation 4 to build and improve on what was already there, rather than start from a blank canvas.

The brand new gameplay walkthrough shows just some of the ways Beenox has been going about doing that. Thomas also informs us that the brand new mechanics of web-slinging  has been drastically improved beyond that of just a visual additional. Using the left and right triggers to navigate Spidey based on physical locations as you swing through the city is far more immersive than ever before. Spider-Mans Cell phone has also gotten some serious upgrades beyond that of just menu and map functions in previous iterations. Your cell can now be used to gauge your missions progress as New York super Guardian as well as a few other nifty things.

The new “Hero or Menace” feature is a way for us to personalize the act of keeping the good citizens of New York safe by adding real-life scenarios for Spider-Man to solve. You can also experience life beyond the mask as Peter Parker this time round as the Amazing Spider-Man 2 now allows you to take of the mask to get a different perspective of the city as you explore and investigate several characters, as well as spending time with your dear old Aunt May.  (Now isn't that just sweet.)

Peter now has an array of cool costumes to try, each featuring their own set of unique web-swinging gadgets. There is an entire world to explore in this open play concept and Thomas tells us their intentions was to allow players to experience it all beyond just linear corridors in this  gameplay walkthrough.
