inFAMOUS Second Son Patch Reveals New Unexpected Surprise For Gamers

Infamous Second Son Out Now

Sucker Punch Productions Manager Brian Fleming had told us two weeks ago that they were working on a patch for inFAMOUS Second Son to fix a couple of minor issues and improvements per request of gamers. We are pleased to reveal the Patch will be available today on Playstation's network along with a few extra little surprises thrown in for good measure.

The new updates will include two of the most requested features allowing you to disable the HUD and adjust the time of day, when ever you like. There is also an option to cap the frame rate at 30 frames per second, for those who prefer playing this way. (Note: Brian tells us that the 30 FPS is a cap and not a lock, so it won't entirely fix the rare occasions of a dropped frame rate during gameplay.)

Along with these user requested updates, Sucker Punch have also kindly taking the time to add a few extra surprises in the patch, cause they are  awesome like that. These new unexpected updates include;

• Localization text changes.

• Fixes for moments when the game crashes.

• They have also added an update that will automatically pause your gameplay if the battery dies on your PS4 Dualshock 4 Controller. Saving you from having to dash for your Second control pad in the middle of a boss fight.

• Choosing expert difficulty mode will now let you know if your are eligible for the "Unstoppable" trophy once you select the option.

• The last update to this patch is Photo Mode. The team at Sucker Punch have been so impressed by all your amazing screenshots shared on various social media platforms of the beautiful city of inFamous Second Son's Seattle, that they have enabled photo mode within the options menu. One you do that, clicking L3 will pause the game, where you will now be introduced to a suite of special internal photo editing tools, like setting depth of field and filter options. With this new update you will now be able to capture much more amazing pictures to share with all your friends and members of the Playstation and inFamous  Second Son community.

How To Use inFAMOUS Second Son Photo Mode 

(Note, Photo Mode will only work when the camera is freely moveable by gamers. Though you can still take pictures during scripted cutscenes, you just wont be able to access  Photo mode tools.)
