SCEA San Diego Studios has unveiled the first ever Playstation 4 Trailer for the highly anticipated MLB 14 The Show.  In todays big reveal, gamers are welcomed to witness the next generation of baseball on the PS4.

Community Manager and Developer Ramone Russell from Sony's San Diego Studios, has informed us that the stadiums in the new trailer have all been rebuilt from the ground up, the new lighting engine now creates a phenomenal looking self shadowing effect at night, a ton of models were used to develop the crowds from thousands of people of various shapes and sizes creating a far more realistic experience to the ball game. Each grass and players hair have been rendered down to the last blade and strand, plus so much more improvements to the gameplay's mechanics.

On top of all these awesome new updates, we are pleased to let you know that since all 3 versions of MLB 14 The Show (PS4, PS3, and PS Vita) support cross save functions. Those who have already bought MLB 14 on PS3 and PS Vita will be able to carry their games progress over to Playstation 4 when it's officially released on May 6th.
