Ratbag Your Unlikely Ally In Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor

At this years Pax Prime 14, we take an exclusive look at Monolith's Lord of the rings inspired game, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. The game tells the story of Talion, a ranger out for revenge after the death of his entire family. Resurrected by the powerful spirit of a Wraith, Talion will let nothing stand in his way as he dominates the minds of Sauron's Orcish army.

In Monolith's latest story trailer revealed at this years Pax Prime 14, we get to see the low-life snivelling Ratbag, one of the many disposable Uruks in Sauron's army. Ratbag is a worthless pile of dung in the eyes of the bigger, stronger Orcs, but his desire to move up the ranks of Sauron's Army might just be your greatest advantage in your quest for vengeance.

As you help Ratbag achieve his goals, he will gain more notoriety and respect amongst the Orcish community, thus giving you access to Mordor's most guarded secrets and leaders.

Monolith definitely took inspiration from  the sniveling Smigel from Lord Of The Rings when creating Ratbag and though he may initially appear to be on Talion's side, we highly recommend keeping a close eye on this sneaky little back-stabber as you progress further in Middle Earth's Shadow Of Mordor.
