GTA V Could Be The Best First Person Shooter You've Ever Played In an Open World Environment
September 22nd, 2014 By Dean Howard
About two years ago I came across a GTA fan made film that absolutely blew my mind. I really liked the way it was created from the live action cinema effects mixed with in-game action style camera angles.
The company has stuck to their guns, pushing the envelope of each new release to even greater heights despite public backlash for its increasing level of violence and sexual content.
So as Grand Theft Auto 5 makes its world debut on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this November 18th, many like myself have wandered what Rockstar intends to bring to the new generation of consoles that can truly make it stand head and shoulder above its predecessor. Well it would appear that question has been answered at least sort of anyway.
In a GTA Forum one user had captured this image below, showing what looks like a new first person view mode in GTA 5 before the post was quickly removed.
The posted content stated that Grand Theft Auto V will take full advantage of the PS4, Xbox One and PC capabilities with stunning visual upgrades right across all platforms. In addition to this, Grand Theft Auto V will now include:
- A brand new first person mode for motor vehicles that showcases car's interior.
- A brand new first person perspective mode while on foot.
Our Thoughts . . .
If this rumour is true then this is exactly the next step in the evolutionary process of RockStars GTA Series. The technology is already in place to easily make this happen and maybe GTA VI might just be the game to fully utilise this new first person mode. What do you think of this interesting development on the verge of Grand Theft Auto 5's launch on PS4?
