Sound effects are just as important as the terrifying images we see in horror movies, so when it comes to creating the spine tingling effects in Resident Evil, creator Shinji Mikami takes no prisoners.

In his latest survival horror, players can expect an array of gruesome sounds guaranteed to have you playing with the lights on.

To create these uneasy sound effects, Tango Gameworks creators of Resident Evil has showcased just how they made these blood curdling, terrifying cries within the haunted house. The Evil Within is now out to pre-order on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 October 14th, 2014
