Who would believe an entire year would go by so fast! This time last year Sony fans were queuing round corners outside their favorite retailers in eager anticipation for the PlayStation 4. Today there are over 13.5 million PS4 owners with a record breaking 1 billion hours spent on playing the console.

Since launch, we have enjoyed classic remakes like The Last Of Us Remastered. The award winning adventure by Naughty Dog was already a big hit on the PS3 but thanks to the new horse power of the PlayStation 4, Naughty Dog were now able to give us a truly remastered edition worthy of such a classic game. We also gained super human abilities with the slick talking Delsin Rowe from inFamous Second Son and shared all our epic moments via DualShock 4's share button with friends.

With so much amazing milestones achieved, the journey is far from over. The recent launch of update 2.0 has introduced us to Share Play a feature which lets you share your gameplay experience with friends even if they don't have the game, or even takeover your character virtually.

In celebration of the PS4's 1st birthday, Sony have put together this infographic below highlighting some of the PlayStation 4's greatest achievements.  Not only that, PlayStation are also on the verge of celebrating its 20th year Anniversary which Shawn Layden President and CEO of SCEA tells us will be marked with special updates taking a look back at 20 years of PlayStation.

PlayStation are also hosting an experience of a lifetime at Las Vegas on the 6th and 7th of December. PSX is going to be a huge two day affair dedicated to PlayStation's community members. Those attending will be treated to exclusive 2015 releases and a chance to win content.  For more info and ticket pricing visit PlayStation Experience.  We hope to see you all there.
