Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has announced Bloodborne's official launch date has changed from February 6, 2015 to March 24th, 2015. This is due to the development team needing more time to make the best possible experience for Sony fans. While this news may come as a surprise for most. We think the real reason is due to how close the release date for Bloodborne is to another PS4 exclusive The Order 1886, set to launch February 20, 2015.

Although it's not uncommon for major titles to launch quite close to one another, what makes this situation unusual is the uncanny similarities when it comes to both games.

Bloodborne and The order 1886 are both dark gothic style hack-n-shoot games exclusives only to PS4 and the theme for each title is centered around medieval ancient monster set in a dark, smog filled environment.

We for one welcome this delay as it will give us time to enjoy The Order 1886 first before delving into Bloodborne a month later.

Despite the communities gripe with lack of decent AAA titles since the PS4's launch last year. It's looking like that is about to change come 2015 with games like Uncharted 4, The Division and The Witcher 3 marked for launch next year.

I guess the new problem now for developers is finding the best time to release their titles in order to ensure maximum return on investment. Let us know your thought on this and what you think in the comments below.
