After overwhelming feedback and positive reviews, Koei Tecmo have decided to launch the highly anticipated Toukiden: Kiwami on PS4 and PS Vita on March 27th in Europe and March 31st in North America. Koei Tecmo have revealed Toukiden: Kiwami will be twice the size of the original game and will feature new weapons, armor, stages and fighting techniques.

Toukiden: Kiwami is both the original Toukiden: Age of Demons story and a brand new massive adventure that follows on from the original plot.

Chin Soon Sun community manager at Koei Tecmo informs us that Fans of the first game can look forward to discovering the true origins of the Slayers mysterious Council of Elders in this latest game and expect to see fan favorite's like Hayatori making a comeback.

Kiwami is set 3 months after the first battle to stop another Awaking. While the village of Utakata begin to find peace. Things soon turn bad when Hitherto a mysterious Oni appears from the north to destroy the Midlands stronghold. Another great news is the ability to carry across your saved data of weapons, armor and upgrades from Toukiden: The Age of Demons over to Toukiden: Kiwami.
