The PS4 is on the Horizon, charging full steam ahead for a Holiday release date.

With so many questions being thrown about regarding the new console. Playstation Access has decided to answer your queries by creating a video about  20 things you didn't know about the PS4.
We at PS4.SX decided to Write these 20 things down, for those of you who enjoy reading as much as we do. The video is also at the end of this article if you want to skip the words and view that instead.

1) Playstation Dynamic Menu.

Dynamic menu brings together all of Playstation's social sharing like, video sharing, and messaging directly integrated with the game you are currently playing so you can keep in touch with friends while you are playing a game.

2) The PS4 comes with a 500 Gigabyte Hard drive.

This should be more than enough for all your game downloading needs, but if its not, there is the options to upgrade the hard drive as well.

3) Play your saved game from any PS4 Console.

You can access your games, music, movies and more from any playstation 4 console as long as you are signed in.

4) You can nominate one Playstation 4 device as your home machine.

Your content will always be available on the nominated device even to other gamers, including the  playstation plus subscription base service.

5) Playstation 4 will come packed with its own HDMI Cable.

Now you may think whats the big deal, but every little helps. HDMI cables aren't exactly cheap, so we think it's nice Sony are including this as standard in the box.

6) Playstation 4 is not region locked.

Another great feature as all previous consoles restricted gamers from playing titles from other countries locked to that region. (Sony gets a big gold star for this one.)

7) The new Playstation 4 Camera can shoot in 3D and with amazing quality.

Lets get up close and personal. Life does look better in 3D, what do you think?

8) The new Playstation 4 Camera has 4 microphones for accurate sound detection and source origination.

Make your presence known from all angles of the room.

9) PS4 will stream movies on Video Unlimited for the first time ever.

Get your popcorns and Soda's ready.

10) PS4 allows instant switching on the Dynamic menu.

So if you are playing a game and you get bored and want to watch a movie. You can pause and change screens in a snap.

11) The touch pad on the DualShock4 is also a press-able button. 

Mash, Smash, and Press till your hearts content.

12) Playstation App is a software for iOS and android devices.

The playstation app is due for release around the launch of the PS4, it will enable you to use mobile apps as a second screen for the console, shop for games on the playstation store, and have it downloaded straight to your PS4 device. It will also enable you to keep in touch with your friends, watch the games they are playing and even assist them on their quest while you are on the go on your iPhone or Android. (Awesome!)

13) PS4 has cross game Chat.

Bring on the trash talk, but please no foul language.

14) PS4 has on video compression and decompression.

Imagine you did something amazing during a game that you want everybody including your grandma to see. You can share it instantly using the share button on the DualShock4 Controller. It can even be uploaded in the background while you continue playing. 

15) PS4 Features Suspend Mode.

No more waiting for the screen to load before you jump right into the action.

16) PS4 can handle updates using a secondary custom chip.

This feature as we have covered in a previous article, enables you to play games right away as it downloads in the background. (The world isn't going to save itself, get a move on soldier.)

17) PS4 use of Gaikai streaming. 

This will give gamers instant access to a huge library of PS3 games from their network, with newer games, like the Last of Us being added later through the service.

18) Existing Playstation plus services will role straight into Playstation 4.

You're basically getting more bang for your buck, when you subscribe to the PS plus programme.

19) Hollywood Giants and Sony Picture Entertainment are working on Exclusive content for PS4.

20) There are over 140 Games currently in development for Playstation 4.
