Why The Order: 1886 is a PS4 exclusive

Ready at Dawn Studios Creative Director Ru Weerasuriya spoke to GamesIndustry International, about why they made the decision to make their new game The Order:1886 just for the PS4.
According to Ru from Ready at Dawn Studios. They wanted to target a console that can help them utilise the full potential of their action game.
The Dev team already have a solid relationship with Sony, having worked on previous titles like; Ghost of Sparta, God of War on the PSP, and the God of War Origins Collection. It was during this time, they began discussing their next exciting adventure on the Playstation 4.
Ru goes on to say that Sony listened to them and understood just how big of an undertaking the task was going to be. Having cultivated a strong working relationship with Sony for over ten years, the Ready at Dawn team felt that the decision to release their game exclusively on the PS4 was the right choice to make. Ru Weerasuriya did acknowledge that such a decision does result in reaching a smaller audience, but mentioned their decision was based on a creative point of view than financial.
The Order: 1886 is set for release in 2014, until then feast your eyes on the images and trailer below.
