Sony PS4 gets FCC Approval

FCC Approves PS4 For USA Consumer Market

By Maya Mayfield

Its official folks. The FCC has approved the PS4 for the US market. Though we knew that already, considering how fast the pre-orders sold out. Hundreds and thousands of gamers will be able to play Sony's next-gen console all around the world, but in order for the PS4 to be sold in the USA it needs to go through the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) Sort of like the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) but for consumer hardware consumption.

The federal Communications indicate from the images, that the brand spanking new Playstation 4 has a maximum clock frequency of 2.75GHz. Which is a massive improvement from its predecessor and an indication of its processing power.
