Sony PlayStation New iOS and Android App Release

Sony have announced they will be releasing a playstation app compatible with iOS and Android App this coming November in conjunction with the PS4's release date on the 15 Nov, 2013.
Gamers will now be able to use their mobile devices as a games controller, and a second screen device when playing popular games like Battlefield 4. The PlayStation application will be available for download for users both on iOS and Android operating system.
According to Sony, the Playstation App will have several benefits for both iOS and Android users. Not only can the app be used as a game controller, it allows gamers to make use of a smaller, lighter device, most people would already be carrying around in their pockets anyway.
Another great addition to Playstation's new app is the ability to use your smartphone as a second screen in certain parts of gameplay, where the smartphone device can be used to extend a particular screen function from the Playstation 4 console unto your iOS and Android phone device. Last but certainly not least, you can access Playstation's network to download PS4 games, check your online friends status, while on the go.
