Sony's playstation 4 will soon be here, with only two months to go. Gamers who are still keen on picking up PS3 games, that will eventually by on the PS4 want to know how they will upgrade the PS3 games to PS4, once the console is available this 15 Nov.

Well we have Good news because Sony has just revealed details as to how their upgrade programme is going to work.

Gamers who have bought games like, Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed: Black Flag and Call of Duty Ghost will have the opportunity to upgrade their Playstation 3 copy to a Playstation 4. This can work both in retail outlets and online digital.

To access the digital  PS4 game, from an eligible retail copy of a PS3 game, players must redeem a code from the Playstation Store, before inserting the PS3 game disc into the PS4 console.
Games which are part of the PS3 to PS4 upgrade plan, will come pre-installed with the voucher code within the games sealed box, and this can only be used once.

For everyone else who buys the digital games eligible for the PS3 to PS4 upgrade programme from the Playstation Store, no code  will be needed to upgrade to PS4.  When the gamer buys the digital game, a Playstation 4 version will be marked as visible on the download list section of the Playstation store.
