Shantae: Half-Genie Hero coming to PS Vita, Playstation 4, and Playstation 3 in 2014

Wayforward is bringing the animated action adventure series Shantae to PS4, PS Vita, and PS3 in the shape of a brand new title: Shantae: Half-Genie Hero!
For those who have never heard of Shantae before, here is some background about the game. Shantae is a half-genie, whose powerful ponytail can destroy enemies in her way. She has the ability to transform into mythological creatures, like animals, and swords when she belly dances. It's very rare to see a game that uses the sensual art of dance as a main feature in its mechanics and Shantae pulls it off very well.
The gameplay is compared to Castlevania Symphony of the night, or Metroid, according Playstation US Blog. wayforward's Shantae will run at 60 frames per second in full HD.
