Bungie Reveal Destiny Release Date 9th September 2014

Bungie has finally announced the official release date for their eagerly anticipated first-person shooter Destiny. This news comes just in time ahead of VGX awards later tonight.  The game will be available both on PS4 and PS3, and the company will secure exclusive content on Sony's platform as part of its long term partnership deal with Activision.

On their official website team Bungie stated the development of Destiny marked a new beginning for the entire team.

"We dreamed of a rebirth and an independent Bungie and we found Partners willing to take risks on some crazy new ideas with us."

Destiny was originally set for a Spring 2014 release date, but it appears this new date is for Team Bungie to get everything as perfect as possible. It also looks like the Beta has been pushed back too, but at least Playstation owners will be getting the first look at the game as Bungie had initially promised.
