jonathan-flagged-by-youtubeIt looks like youtube's recent copyright violation against video game up-loaders is affecting more than just gamers, as we discovered that even developer Jonathan Blow, creator of the Witness, a new first person puzzle game coming to the PS4 was also penalized for uploading his own creation on the video website.

According to Jonathan Blow, Youtube had sent him a violation notice after he uploaded The Witness, stating his own game was owned by Sony. This new content ID system is becoming a major pain for most up-loaders to the popular Video website, as thousands of videos have already been flagged and taking down from Youtube's network, under copyright law claims.

We can only assume things will get worse, and would advice most game up-loaders to start looking at alternatives like Twitch, a network dedicated to video game hosting, also available directly from the Playstation 4 system.
