Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Hits Playstation 4 January 28th 2014

We have some great news to announce as Scot Amos executive producer at Crystal Dynamics has just informed us that the award winning Tomb Raider will be available on the Playstation 4 on January 28th 2014 in the shape of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.
Scot said recreating the popular series on the PS4 system was a "True labour of love," for him and the Crystal Dynamics Team. Taking full advantage of the extra horsepower under the hood of the PS4, Scot said they were now able to develop the sort of Tomb Raider game they had always envisioned.
Crystal Dynamics has been working alongside United Front Games the team behind Square Enix hugely successful Sleeping Dogs, and Nixxes a long time partner since the days of Legacy of Kain. In a joint team effort each studio was able to work together to painstakingly dissect the game and rebuild it from scratch including enhanced visuals, realism and deeper immersion to the world of Tomb Raider.
Raising Tomb Raiders display to a native 1080p was no easy task said Scot as this meant increasing all of the previous textures by over 4x, so gamers can truly get a next-gen visual experience on the PS4 version.
We cannot wait to see all the great new improvements Tomb Raider will feature on the Playstation 4, even though we have already completed it on the PS3.
