Assassin's Creed Series, Ubisoft's Best Performing Franchise

The Assassin's Creed series has sold over seventy-three million copies globally, making it Ubisoft's best-selling franchise by twenty-five million units. Ubisoft made the announcement on its official webpage, providing a detailed look at its world best selling game series, with sales figures for sixteen of their most accomplished franchises thus far. Along with the sales figures, Ubisoft also revealed the number of employees working for the company is over 9,200 with 7,800 of those employees dedicated to production. Ubisoft remains the 3rd biggest independent publisher both in the US and Europe.
Ubisoft have promised to announce much of its plans for the rest of the year and beyond 2014 at this years E3 event on June 9th.
