Ryan Clements from Playstation has shared his first hands on experience with the brand new Thief for Playstation 4 today. Ryan begins by describing Garrett the main protagonist in Thief as he stalks silently through a closed jewelry shop, inches away from a snoring guard, before helping himself to drawers full of loot.

This new reboot for the PS4 sees our anti-hero Garrett, lurking in the shadows, vaulting through windows, and prying open locked cabinets as a master thief. This new revised edition will see players maneuvering around a much more open-world environment, from the dark alleyways to the cities rooftops. Armed with his trusty bow, which supports an array of arrows, some of which can be used to extinguish fire flames, while others can stun
patrolling guards with a toxic vapor.

Eidos the team behind Thief on PS4 have spent a lot of time and handwork building the world of thief and its backstory says Ryan. They have taken into account the smallest of details to create a far more realistic and immersive thief  than ever before. For example if you extend Garretts bow for too long, his hand will begin to weaken as it naturally would do if you held a bow and arrow for an extended period of time.
