New Hitman Game To Include Contracts and Large Open World Level Design
January 16th, 2014 By Mont BrownIOInteractive have just released an open letter to all hitman fans revealing some new information regarding the new upcoming title. The next installment of the series is said to feature a world traveling Agent 47 at the prime of his career. The unnamed Hitman title currently in development by IO interactive will provide Agent 47 with full support and backup from all departs in ICA including his long time companion Diana Burnwood.
IO also mentioned that contract mode which allowed players to create their own missions will be back in the next Hitman Game. In attempts to make the next Hitman Game more realistic IO are removing Agent 47's "Magic pockets" feature which allowed the assassin to carry more items and weapons in an unrealistic inventory, he could access when ever he needed.
This recent announcement by IO Interactive is to officially clarify the rumors of the Hitman game being cancelled on next-gen.
