Helldivers: 5 Things You Need to Know

Arrowhead Game Studios CEO Johan Pilestedt has shared an update on the companies new  game Helldivers, since the initial announcement was made back at Gamescom 2013. Helldivers is a top-down, double stick shooter based in a world oppressed by Alien invaders coming to Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and PS Vita later this year.

You must battle to save humanity from an unrelenting alien force, as an elite member of the Helldivers. The game focuses on team work as you and the entire community must work together to wage intergalactic war, in a conflict expected to last up-to 4-6 weeks according to Johan.

Each victory and defeat will have an impact on the overall conflict, which can be won or lost, depending on the amount of effort you and the entire community put into it. Players have the option to play co-operatively with 2-4 squad members or go at it alone. As you complete each mission to save planet earth, you will begin to rise through the ranks earning new weapons, skills, notoriety and bonus points.
