NBA Live 14′ Update Expected 10th, Feb, 2014
February 8th, 2014 by Dean HowardNBA Live 14 is set to get its second update fixing a number of issues, fans of the series have been requesting. The new update is expected as early as this monday according messages on twitter, and EA Sports are addressing a number of issues and making improvements on ball physics, dribbling, passing speeds and first steps.
EA are also adding a Shootaround mode which will essentially allow for a much fluid gameplay when shooting hoops. This new update will also allow the controls to be navigated much easier especially when it comes to pulling off trick moves past defenders or watching a shot clock. EA Sports has mentioned that Shootaround is the “first step” toward building a “sturdy, comprehensive onboarding skill.”
The new update will also feature visual improvements to the color and lighting effect fixing the unrealistic appearance of the players, making them look, feel and play more like the real NBA stars. EA Sports also plans on using this technology to scan the faces and heads of real NBA star players to reach the level of photorealism for next years NBA Live 15.
