The Evil Within Coming to Playstation 4 August 26th

In celebration of Valentines day, Bethesda Softworks has announced the release date for their survival horror The Evil Within. Matt Grandstaff, Global Community lead at Bethesda Softworks made the announcement today telling gamers, they should be happy their DualShock 4 controller can double up as a night light, because that may be the only comfort they get trying to survive The Evil Within. This new game is developed by the team at Tango Gameworks, under the watchful direction of Iconic game director Shinji Mikami.
On what initially appears to be a routine investigation of a horrible mass murder, Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners discover a mysterious and powerful force. After watching his fellow officers slain to death, Detective Sabastian is knocked out, waking up hours later to find himself trapped in a bizarre world filled with gruesome creatures. Faced with fear unlike anything he has ever encountered. Sabastian must journey deeper into this nightmare to find out the secrets behind this mysterious Evil power.
Prepare yourselves as The Evil Within represents the meaning of pure terror in the survival horror genre. The environments, atmosphere and story have all been carefully designed to keep you unsettled in this immersive world built to raise a few blood pressure levels. With very limited resources at your disposal, players must do all they can to fight for survival in this perfect concoction of action meets horror game.
The Evil Within will be released on PS4 and PS3 on Tuesday 26th of August 2014, but is available to Pre-Order Now.
