Ubisoft Toronto Boss Jade Raymond Talk About Ubisoft's New Projects
March 10th 2014, by Dean HowardUbisoft Toronto Studio is currently developing 5 yet to be named projects, revealed Jade Raymond Ubisoft's studio boss during a conversation with SXSW as reported by the Star. According to Jade Raymond 2 of the 5 projects are being co-developed with another very popular game studios.
"We definitely have a lot of plates spinning," said Raymond, "but non of them have been announced."
Jade Raymond also mentioned her interest in Ubisoft developing more games catered towards the mobile and table devices as a way to build up the companies mobile library. She also hinted at Ubisoft developing more games centered around strong social elements with a focus on players interaction through play.
Ubisoft Toronto's Current Development Projects so far are:
- New Assassin's Creed
- Two new IP
- New Splinter Cell game
- Mystery game based on one of Ubisoft's "biggest" franchises
Jade Raymond has been with Ubisoft since 2004, after she joined the company's Montreal studio to produce the original Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed 2. In 2010 she moved to Ubisoft Toronto, where she became the studio boss working as the executive producer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist.
