Blacklight: Retribution Gets New Map On Playstation 4

Zombie Studios Producer Kael Hammond is pleased to reveal the latest Seaport map out today on Blacklight Retribution on Playstation 4. Seaport is created to quickly get players into the battle faster, with 2 major directions of attack. If you are pinned down by enemy fire, there are smaller side path-ways and routes you can take to cut through the port's warehouses. Great use of HRV is essential, considering the opposition can catch you unaware if you or your team mates aren't alert.

This latest industrial map adds an interesting element of verticality to the mix and it is worth bearing that in mind when advancing through the level to avoid being caught by the higher vantage point. In celebration of this new map, Zombie are also giving away double XP's this weekend.

Kael also took the time to answer a few popular questions from fans of the series regarding the official PS4 release date.

In his response Kael said, the team at Zombie have begun the final progression to complete beta testing, with two more upcoming bug and patch fixes to take them out of beta. Gamers can also follow Zombie studios on Twitter and Faceboook where they will be announcing a release date very soon.  As for GP prices, Kael tells us a lot of time has gone into figuring out how to best tackle this challenge while still making sure the game is fun and fairly balanced for everyone else.  Expect more details on this at the end of beta testing.
