Spiders Studio's ambitious RPG Bound By Flame is coming out this week on PlayStation 4 and PlaysStation 3 and will be available first on PlayStation Store tomorrow on May 6 and then everywhere else on May 9th. In celebration of the upcoming launch Spiders studio has released a brand new launch trailer to wet your appetites.



Bound By Flame is set in a dark fantasy universe where 7  Icelords have taken over the realm. Vertiel is captured and locked in a never ending winter as the Seven Icelords drain the world’s of all its energy. You take on the role of a mercenary called Vulcan, part of a group called the Pure Blades. You have been tasked with protecting a group of priest while they desperately attempt to cast a spell that could help turn the tide of battle against the Icelords. While casting the spell something goes terribly wrong and instead of binding these Icelords the priest accidentally summon a Flame Demon and it is here your quest begins.

As you venture through the realm, gamers will have to make some very tough decisions that will ultimately impact your relationship with the Flame demon that now posses Vulcan. Will you allow the demon to determine who it wants you to be or will you fight back forcing your will upon it? The choice is entirely yours.  The bond you build or don't build with this flame demon will ultimately influence the overall storyline of Bound By Flame and the way the game is played out. Taking advantage of the demons powers will turn you into a super powerful pyromancer able to pull of incredible fire spells, vanquishing enemies in your way. The trade of however to such a great ability is the demon will slowly begin to take over your soul, twisting and changing your personality from the inside out. Vulcan's physical appearance will also begin to change, taking on a more darker evil look as the game progresses further. If on the other hand you decide to take the more difficult path choosing to use your human strengths rather than submit to the demon, you will gain heroic skills letting you become a brave strong fearless fighter or a stealthy ranger.

Your journey will also be filled with interactions with your fellow Pure Blade companions and your relationship will be affected based on your inner struggle with the demon that posses you. Bound By Flame also boasts a crafting system allowing you to customize every single part of the equipments you find within the Universe. Players will be able to customize weapons and equipments helping to enhance your fighting technics, which you can then test on the array of vicious monsters created to test you skills in Vertiel.  Look out for our full review coming this week on Bound By Flame.
