The guys at Slightly Mad Studios has released their first ever in-game screenshots showcasing their incredibly ambitious racer Project CARS. The concept for Project CARS began back in October 2011 and is a continuation of Slightly Mad Studios biggest franchises - Need For Speed and Test Drive. Project CARS is also a throwback to the studios roots in GTR and GT Legends, explains Andy Tudor Creative Director from Slightly Mad Studios.

During the conception of Project CARS, Slightly Mad wanted to create a racing title that not only covered a huge variety of cars and motor sports but also the freedom to experiment and play with these vehicles the way you want. Paul explains it as, "giving players players the most authentic racing experience in the globe, including all the relevant features needed to recreate your very own racing event, similar to real life race weekends.  Project CARS comes complete with a dynamic time of day and weather mechanics that not only looks phenomenal, but provides unique strategy opportunities out on the racing circuit."

On top of all this, Project CARS will also bring players together using a variety of online social features like challenging multiplayer events, time trials, stat comparisons, content sharing, plus much more.

Project CARS will be launching in November, but until then feast your eyes on these incredible first ever screenshots taking from the PlayStation 4 of the upcoming racer.
