War Thunder Multiplatform Aviation Fun
June 5th, 2014 By Maya MayfieldOne of the first things Gaijin Studio's decided to do when creating War Thunder was to develop the title for multiple platforms. With this thought process in mind, Gaijin built War Thunder as an online game, capturing a strong base of players across PC and Mac systems at launch.
Apart from a few minor adjustments to War Thunder's interface, we hardly noticed any difference from the PS4, Mac and PC versions. The playStation 4's version also features a USB keyboard or mouse plug and play function instead of the DualShock4, for those who wish to play it that way. Utilizing the PS Camera functionality, Gaijin has developed it to keep track of head movements, which is extremely essential in fast paced dogfights.
The new ground forces expansion pack is also a great addition to the aviation element of the game, as other players can assist or attack your progress by controlling anti air tank missiles. War Thunder boasts a whopping 400 hundred historically accurate planes and armored vehicles with more to come soon. PS4 owners can also take advantage of the exclusive "Invader" content which includes US attack plane A-26C-45 Invader, along with other great gameplay bonuses.
