The news was first revealed by Brian Silva, developer relations at Sony Computer Entertainment, who confirmed todays launch.
Minecraft on PlayStation 4 will feature worlds thirty-six times larger than that on the Playstation 3, according to Brian Silva, developer relations at Sony Computer Entertainment.
Those who currently own Minecraft on PS3 will be able to port all their current saves over to the PlayStation 4 version, enabling them to keep building their empire right where they left off.
