In todays update from Tokyo Game Show 2014, Ready at Dawn's CEO and Creative Director Ru Weerasuriya has revealed some exclusive behind the scenes look at some of the weapons from The Order: 1886.

With weapon manufacturing growing at an exponential rate across the globe and Chief Nikola Tesla being the head scientist, the Knights of the Order are spoilt for choice when it comes to selecting tools for the trade.

The introduction of Tesla within The Order: 1886 was a great way of bringing real weapons based of existing technology within the Victorian-Era, while further pushing the imagination of what could be possible based on the equipments they had back then.

The Order: 1886 will put you in the midst of the Industrial Revolution in a war between Humans and Half Breeds. Many of the weapons within the game will be focused on trying to help you turn the tide of battle to our favor.

Weapons such as the Coach Gun, the Carbine and the Maschinenpistole are the more common weapons your likely to find from one stage to the next due to the technology of the time. While other weapons like the electrifying Arc Gun or the Thermite Rifle is just one of the ways Ready at Dawn are utilizing modern technology to create weapons that didn't exist at the time.


Our Thoughts . . .

From todays update we can see that Ready at Dawn has really taken their time to craft each weapon, while paying close attention to the authentic look and feel of the time period. The weapons appear to be prototypes and high risk even to those who use it, which in the 1800's would have likely been the case since most weapons were never safely tested before used in battle.
