Styx: Master Of Shadows: Attack Of The Ugly Green Goblin

If Styx Had Looks To Kill, You'd Already Be Dead

Styx: Master of Shadows is the latest Assassin inspired action platformer with the most unlikeliest of characters as its main Hero. When you think of a leading heroic character, we doubt a hideous green goblin lurking within the shadows would be the first to come to mind, but that is exactly what the team at Cyanide have created from the looks of todays Assassin's Green gameplay trailer and we love it!

Going against normal conventions, Cyanide have developed a mysteriously ugly beast able to scale and prowl through the darkness in predatory fashion, hunting and silently disposing of his prey.  Although Styx Master of Shadows is very reminiscent of Ubi's Assassin's Creed, we think the unique aspect of being able to cloak yourself in plain site while using various stealth combination style kills to deal with enemies might just be what sets this game apart.

Styx will venture deep within the large mysterious home of the World Tree, quietly taking out the guards with only his beloved Dagger and a few throwing Knives. From the trailer we can see that once players are familiar with the environment they will be able to utilize each piece to great advantage as we witness the super athleticism of Styx easily leaping from one ledge to another cutting throats, and throwing knives with deadly accuracy.

At least these poor sods died quickly, just one look of this goblin infiltrator is enough to drive anyone to an early grave.
