Transistor Release Date Confirmed For May 20th 2014 On Playstation 4

Supergiants Games have finally revealed the release date for their upcoming PS4 debut title Transistor coming out on May 20, 2014. If you are unfamiliar with this game, then let us start by telling you that Transistor is a sci-fi themed action role playing game, inviting players to wield an extra-ordinary weapon of unknown origins known only as the Transistor. Set in a futuristic city, you must fight for survival while piecing together the mysteries behind this strange weapon you find in your possession. Transistors gameplay seamlessly blends gameplay through various levels with ultra fast paced action and an immersive storyline.
Greg Kasavin Creative Director at Supergiant Games informs us that a few of the team will be attending PAX East in Boston this week, demonstrating a nearly finished build of Transistor running on the Playstation 4. Transistor will be out this May 20, 2014 and will be available on PS4 at the Playstation Store for $19.99 in North America.
Greg tells us there will be a World-Wide launch of Transistor at some point in the future with plans to accommodate most major speaking languages such as English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese.
