Late last month, it had been announced that GameStop had been given the go-ahead by Sony to “open the floodgates” for “unlimited” PS4 pre-orders. Now, GameStop has had to shut their floodgates, with the current PS4 edition sold-out out on their online web site page.
The pricier bundles are still on offer and these are limited to one Playstation 4 console per household. You'll be able to pre-order at your local stores before their quota is depleted, but it’s clear that stocks are currently restricted. If you do plan on pre-ordering, We would suggest the earlier you go ahead, the better.
Over on Amazon, the PS4 has been doing equally well, with the launch day edition being the most pre-ordered gaming console of the entire year, even though it sold out in a day.
Have you pre-ordered, and if so, where? Leave a comment below and tell us if you’ll be one of the lucky ones who will be enjoying the PS4 on launch day.
