Watch Dogs seems set to be another one of the massive launch games for PS4 after its release this Christmas holiday season, & Ubisoft is already working on the game being an enormous success. The action packed, espionage style game sees our hero Aiden Pearce defy a totalitarian Chicago, with his hacking skills to control the planet around him. If Ubisoft get want they want from this first title on the Playstation 4, we are going to be seeing lots more of Pearce and the Watch Dogs universe within the next few years. Watchdogs developers, spoke of how they were following Bungie's example and  designing for the longer term.

“Honestly that’s what we’re doing too” replied the games producer, Dominic Guay. “Even if we end up changing our minds mid-way, and decide to work on something entirely different. The planning helps us create a powerful base for the future. This idea is similar to popular TV series. After the first season ends, you are left with a cliff hanger moment, that leaves the audience wanting more. We aim to do the same with the Watchdogs games."

Ubisoft is also very keen on developing the ‘second screen’ functions. This looks to be the newest developing thing at this time, considering how successful the Xbox Smart glass app is. Tablet or smartphone users will be able to assist console game players, either from the same location,  or over a network hundreds of miles away. Watch Dogs is going to be one of the first massive game titles to offer this funtion and it'll be very fascinating to see how it works, and if it will start a brand new era for multiplayer gaming.
One thing is certain, The  Watch Dogs franchise is on the verge of becoming  huge.

Check out the Watch Dogs Exposed Trailer, and tell us what you think about Ubisoft and their future plans for this exciting new game.
