New List Of Warriors Revealed

As Samurai Warriors celebrates its 10th Anniversary we get an exclusive look at the new list of characters making their way unto the 4th edition of the HacknSlash adventure on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.

Samurai Warriors is a spin - off from the extremely popular Dynasty Warriors, the tactical action franchise based of China's historical accounts of the 3 Kingdoms. Samurai Warriors first made its debut back in February 2004 on the PlayStation 2. The game went on to do very well selling over a million copies in its first month of release in Japan, thus becoming the main franchise for Koei Tecmo.

Since then Samurai Warriors has steadily seen an increase in popularity with each new installment and new characters added to the roster. Regarding Samurai Warriors 4, the development team has taken note of player feedback to not only add new characters to the game, but also improve on the titles original favorites.

In their latest update we get a look at new characters  Munenori Yagyu, Kagakatsu Uesugi, and Yagyu Takatora Todo, who joins Hisahide Matasunaga, Takakage Kobayakawa, Lady Hawakawa, Naotora Ii,  Koshosho, Yoshitsugu Otani, Kojuro Katakura, Nobuyuki Sanada, and Toshisa Shimazu.

As a fan of Dynasty Warriors, Warriors Orochi and Samurai Warriors. It's great to see the title gaining more popularity in the west, especially with new characters being added to the list on PlayStation's Platform. Check out the newest video and characters and tell us what you think.
